Family Farms

We visited a few local family farms today, part of a tour sponsored by the Farm Bureau to promote local agriculture. Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food! Several of the growers are friends from the weekly Farmers' Market and it was fun to see them in their habitat and learn about their process. They are passionate about what they do. "We can't just think about ourselves," said one. "We have to think about the future, about passing this on. So support your farmers. Buy their products. Eat a lot!""
