Crossing the Hawea River

Today the walking group parked at Albert Town, walked across the swing bridge over the Hawea River, and walked south down the true left of the Hawea River, then the Clutha River.  The extra is a photo of the Clutha River.  The track is called The Newcastle Track.

We had our lunch overlooking the Clutha river.  Over 16,000 steps or just over 11 km.  We had a nice cuppa on the way home at a local cafe.

The weather was nice and warm, felt a bit like summer.  Another walk in the great out doors.
