Old warehouse "Los principios"

In 1918, the brothers Fernández, Antonio and Francisco opened the Almacén de Ramos Generales “Los Principios” on the corner of Arellano and Mitre. In 1922 the warehouse was moved to its current location on the corner Moreno and Mitre. Corner that received the people of the field that entered by the "Old Bridge" or the "Middle Bridge". Its name has to do with the family inheritance that consisted of an ethical-moral formation. Different personalities of Areco were clients, including Don Segundo Sombra. Although the commercial movement of the corner was substantially modified, it is the merit of Don Beco Fernández, current owner of the warehouse, to have been able to maintain the spirit. This classic place is almost a time machine and its view from the outside with a colonial-style mansion and old bricks in sight illustrate what those times of countrymen and gauchos were. The warehouse still retains the same installations, decorations and walls it had at the time it was inaugurated in 1922.
