Cup on a pedestal

This is an image of one of two cups and saucers we have in our home that will never be used to drink out of, for a number of reasons the most important being they are too small. Who drinks out of cups that size? They were also part of a larger collection that you only used either at Christmas or you wanted to appear sophisticated.
