Millthrop Bridge

This is about 2 minutes from my house. It is a listed building. Thought to date from the 1770’s. It has triangular refuges. Somebody (rumour has it that it was a foreign car) hit it. You can see the stones that are normally on the bridge are on the ground below it :-(
They are saying that the road will be closed for 3 months. What a pain.
