Bombus

The sound of a grumbling bumblebee drew my attention as stepped out into the garden late this afternoon.  Here he is, a White Tailed Bumblebee (Bombus lucorum) I think.  He buzzed around this Clematis orientalis for a while but defied my attempts to get a clear view of him in entirety.

An admin day after a visit this morning from a nice lady who works with families who have been separated as they reconnect.  She seemed as perplexed as we are about the disparity between the long term plan for Jamie and the current direction of travel, a theme which was continued tonight in a conversation with an advocate from Equal Lives who works with issues around disability and mental health. Today we feel a little better supported.
