Whitby

Monday 14th October 2019

I was sad to be missing my break on the North Yorkshire Moors and my sister wanted to have fish and chips, so we combined the two into a day out to Whitby. We went via Sutton Bank and stopped at the top for hot chocolate and a walk to "the best view in England", according to James Herriot. See extra

We then travelled cross country to Whitby for our fish and chips and a walk by the harbour. We all enjoyed the scenery. 

Back home, and not needing to eat again, we had a great evening of games. Nine games of Rummikub and two games of our traditional cards.
