Not quite Superwoman

More than a bit deflated to read that we were in fact a whole 2 miles short of a half marathon yesterday in an apologetic e-mail from Great Run. Totally understand and support the reasons behind the last minute changes and confusion but so deflated. Which is ridiculous because my wildest dream before the run was finishing in under 2 hours which I’m very confident I would have done based on my time. But after the elation at the finish that wildest dream suddenly seems disappointing. Crazy. I‘ve got a sinking feeling I’m gonna have to do another one some day. Definitely not today.
