The Binks

It was such a lovely sunny morning! Blue sky, cooler, brisk!
Met a friend for lunch in Picnic, lovely wee cafe in the High Street South Queensferry, by the time we came out of the cafe, the sun had disappeared & it was cloudy!
The Binks is the spot where our Queen Margaret in 11th century sailed over the River Forth in a wee coracle on her journey to Dunfermline Palace.

The brown plaque was placed there in 1993 marking the 900th anniversary of Queen Margaret.

Of course my favourite bridge wasn't there in her day!
