Peñón de Ifach

..across the Bay.....and clearly visible every morning as I start my walk.........the iconic landmark of the Peñón de Ifach, in Calpe, stands, rising to over 300metres above the Mediterranean Sea.
The limestone mass, supports many hundreds of birds, and is part of the Natural Park.

While I was working as a teacher, ..... with a small team of supporting parents, .....I used to take the top junior class up to the top of the Ifach. It was always a great day out!
