Longer lashes

This morning I found some more Eyelash Cup fungus, though sadly no Dung Cannon. These ones are much fresher than yesterday's so the 'eyelashes' on the outer rim can be seen more clearly. Eyelash cup is supposed to favour humus rich damp places so I was a bit surprised to find these on the edge of a chalk path on the South Downs.
