Mostly Six Five Oh

Nice long talk with a good friend on the phone this evening (book list friend), we talked about The Overstory and I reminded her of Julia Butterfly Hill; my friend mentioned she'd read interviews of the author who had based some of his story on the activist.  Long ranging discussions about the state of the world, PG&E, anniversaries of wildfires and earthquakes (Loma Prieta) all around about now.  What a weird existence.  Then she told me about driving from Grass Valley to visit her son who recently moved and bought a house in Pocatello, Idaho, and being caught in a tumble weed storm - wait, what?  Surreal.  It's a thing, google it.
