Not the view I was expecting today.

K & I were intending on visiting her Grandad today. We decided to go by train, but unfortunately after only 30 mins we had to abandon our journey. The train was stationary at Arbroath for 30mins when the conductor announced that there had been a fatality on the line further ahead, and they didn’t know when we’d be moving.
It was such a sad state of affairs. We were lucky (apart from not getting to see Dad) as we could get a bus back home without too much hassle. Others were travelling much further and probably with more pressing circumstances. And of course there’s the poor soul who won’t be going home tonight.
