I was on the 7am train to work today and then on the 7.20pm train home. As I legged it along Cheapside I remembered the need to blip. So here's a snap of St Mary-Le-Bow. Sadly the photo is unlikely to inspire you so have a little fact instead.

It is said that to be a true Cockney, a person must be born within the sound of the bells of this church. The bells were destroyed in a German air raid on 11th May 1941 and were finally restored on 21st December 1961. That means there were no cockneys born for 20 years. Anyone fancy telling that to Sir Alan Sugar?
