Fungi

I went to the colouring group today in Corstorphine Library. Had a little walk around the grounds of the Old Corstorphine Parish Church grounds where there are several forests of fungi on the grass & around the base of the trees.

These fungi are at the base of a cherry tree. A grounded feather resulting from the local bird of prey that uses the church & trees as a pluck perch. Late afternoon sun between the buildings & trees catching the fungi stem & feather.
