The Promise...

...of a bloom yet to arrive. A bud on one of the Christmas cactus plants...this one seems a bit confused as it’s flowered umpteen times throughout the year but never at Christmas!

After a peaceful evening and a good nights sleep I woke feeling a bit brighter, though still choked with the cold...sadly the weather didn’t mimic my recovery and it’s wet and miserable out so I won’t be over the doorstep today.
