Shearing

Staying with the cousins-in-law for a couple of nights on the farm. 14,000 Merino Sheep in the High Country of the Maniototo. Luckily it’s a shearing day, and the whole team are hard at work. Today they will shear 1,100 hoggets - and the same tomorrow.

For the hoggets it’s their first hair cut!
