Gulls

A stroll by the river Taw with old bread to tempt the gulls. I am trying to see if I can get any sharp shots of birds. Terrifo came and threw for me and then I did the same for her!  
I had not used this lens for a very long time and am totally out of practice. . I was using the rat-a-tat method so had hundreds of shots - and have binned 98%.  This is one of the slightly better ones. 
We had a short shower but apart from that the sun was out so bits of gull are blown out! 
More work needed.
