A day of art in our house. On paper it looked like a nightmare, 8 girls painting.. I mean what could possibly go wrong? But in fact the day worked really well. It was my daughter's birthday party so hired in a ceramic painter for the girls to design and paint plates which have now been taken away to be kilned this week. A few party games afterwards but I sure earnt a glass of wine!
