Make Every Day Memorable

Nuthatch

After a beautiful morning walk with the dogs on the common I escaped to Stover for a couple of hours.
Being the weekend, the park is always that much busier and probably more so today as it's the start of the local half term holidays.
The sun was warm and filtering through the yellowing leaves as I walked towards the lake.
Only a few things of interest. A Mistle Thrush gorging on ripe berries, Mandarin males rumbling to the females and numerous robins singing for some food.
The Nuthatches are always so stroppy and this one soon took possession of a small handful of seed, sending all the other birds scattering.
Although a bit more sun on the actual bird would have been nice, I really like the background of this shot.
