Anatole's blips

Autumn in the Nockberge

Today a superb walk up a nearby ridgeline along a forest trail not regularly trod. We followed a pair of Black Woodpeckers as they flew from tree to tree, calling to each other. Superb views from the top and glimpses a huge Capercaillie flying off through the golden larches. A very welcome escape from the shenanigans back at Westminster as we hope and pray that a little common sense might prevail.
