Friends

We’ve been friends with these people for 35 years or so - the boys met at college when we were two couples going out with each other. We became friends, got married, had our families and shared many happy times together. So lovely to still be in touch with them even though we don’t live close by any more. We lost touch a bit when we moved to Wales but have seen more of each other recently, which has been fantastic.
We had a lovely weekend together with amazing weather after the awful rain we’ve had for so long.
We had a long walk down at Mumbles with a coffee stop at this cafe with a stunning view across Bracelet Bay.
Tilly the Red Fox Labrador was very well behaved for a two year old and got on well with The Girls - bodes well for possible dog sitting for holidays for us both.
In the evening, Mr M and I went for a run in the dark and had to herd a donkey who was loose on the road and just managed to stop it going onto the main road, which could have caused a terrible accident. Mr M kept the donkey trapped in a side road while I ran back up the country road to a farm to fetch some help. Quite a dramatic end to the day!
