St. John's Wort

We have a large bush of St. John's Wort in our garden which throughout the summer is covered in yellow blooms. By this stage the year there are only one or two blooms which are maintaining their former glory. Whilst being potentially useful to humans as a herbal remedy for mild depression or anxiety in much of the world that are regarded as a weed which needs eradicating as they can be potentially harmful and maybe lethal to grazing animals if they ingest too many.
