Nature Diary... A Sunny Day Beside the Sea

The sun was shining; far from shore the sea looked positively Bahamian. At the shoreline the water was clear and sparkling. Sitting on the rocks looking down into the gently rippling water I felt like a young child seeing sights like this for the first time. With the tourist season now over (except for on some sunny Sundays) it was very, very peaceful. Quietly idyllic in fact. So I just sat. And I just watched. And as I watched I let the memories of my own childhood and the childhoods of my own children float gently through my mind. So many memories. So much love. So much laughter. Now, so much peace, and so much gratitude...
