Monday: Spiders & Yacon Flower

Dry and mild, 12°C perfect weather for gardening. MrD was working all morning & went to get new tyres for his van this afternoon.
Spiders in today’s Blip were sleeping in some seed trays until I disturbed them, no harm done! Noticed yacon has a couple of flower buds not sure if they’ll open. More info https://www.permaculture.co.uk/How-to-grow-harvest-eat-yacon
Sowed some more winter salad/veggies: green alkanet, leek “Blue de Solaise”, onion “Bianca di Maggiola, Queen La Reine”, Swiss chard “5 colours”, mesclun tangy leaf mix, perpetual spinach.
Found 9 little plants of Swiss chard in garden which have been potted up and can stay in greenhouse.
Ornamental grass Festuca glauca “Elijah Blue” germinated well, moved them into cells to grow on.
Watched film “Humor Me” on NowTV - it’s great!!
Goodnight all x
