Fall Outing

Osuzanna/Suzanne and I tried something a bit different today.  We're usually out looking for wildlife, but given the change in season, and lack of birds and insects, we went in search of landscapes.  We may have been a bit early for bright foliage, and in general a more muted showing is predicted, but we did find some color. We walked and drove around Antietam National Battlefield, a part of the National Park Service in Sharpsburg, Maryland.  It is a Civil War battle site spread over 3,000 acres.  Suzanne spotted this colorful tree, and took multiple photos to use with the Pep Ventosa technique.  That's her over on the right side.  One of these days I'll give this technique a try myself.
Thank you for stopping by!
