Red-Orange Magic

 Amazing fall leaves (maple, I would guess). We were at the Fort River refuge over midday, on another superb fall day. Roger Federer easily won his first-round match in Basel--as most of you may know by now, he's our favorite.  This evening we attended a meeting of our Hampshire Bird Club, with an excellent talk on "Winter Survival" by Laura Erickson, from Minnesota, where birds indeed endure severe winters.
