Cygnet and smoke

Two very contradictory images. The main being a young cygnet which was floating on the lake at Western Springs. We called in to get a nature shot on the way home from a trip into the city. The extra is the start of the major fire in downtown Auckland at midday. It had just broken out as we joined the motorway so took a detour to get the view looking back across the harbour. As I write it is still burning four hours later with one person hospitalised.
