Dust and dirt

Today I opened the most dirty old telephone for the Wonderfoon project. It looks like this phone had been in a garage and must have been hanging there for 30 years or so, after which it was dumped in a corner somewhere collecting even more grease (oil?) and dust. Slowly but surely I managed to get all the dirt out. A lot of work but very rewarding to see the phone turn from smudgy black to its original light gray colour.
