Got this one and "Something beginning with T" the wrong way around...

It's my attempt to produce a "scroll" to illustrate the the Zulu War memorials at the battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift

This is a collage of images taken when we visited them during our South African trip. Isandlwana is the mountain in the background to the left.

The other images are (left to right) :
The British memorial (obelisk) at Rorke's Drift of those who died there,
The Zulu memorial (in the form of a tribal necklace) commemorating their warriors
who died at Isandlwana,
The inscription on the memorial at Fugitive's Drift to Lts Melvill and Coghill who
died there after losing the colours of the 24th Regt following the defeat at
Isandlwana
The Zulu memorial to their warriors who died at Rorke's Drift.

For those not familiar with these battles, the one at Isandlwana was the subject for the film "Zulu Dawn", whilst Rorke's Drift was the location for "Zulu" with Michael Caine.
