Desperate times desperate blips

Love and loss twin bedfellows of the human condition - I'll spare you the details, but troubles as they say don't come singly, and we are having our fair share just now, so haven't found much photo inspiration recently.
Still thanks to my new volume of Brecht's poems, over 2,000 pages of them, there are always words to inspire, very helpful when seeking quotes to celebrate my friends' 70th birthdays.
