Poppies by the Shore

I have spent most of the day watching a Croquet tournament held at the Wanaka Croquet Greens.  (Extra)  It was such a nice day after the terrific storm that passed through overnight.  I haven't heard who won the tournament, we usually come 3rd out of 3!!

At lunch time I went to Bremner Bay for a little walk, and that is where I took this photo.  The lovely orange colour attracted my attention.  A beautiful warm day.  +13C.
