Mrs UE said no more. Our Spanish neighbour said ‘ what have you done’ and smiled (or did he laugh?).
In the pruning book it said always prune back to allow the light in and to keep height down to be able to reach the top with long secateurs from the ground. Which you can now if you’re 2 metres tall.... which I’m not!
