An unusual piece of street art, observed on a more urban lunchtime walk. I assume it’s been done with the consent of the householder although you never know.

Later, there was a mid-week game at Valley Parade, with Port Vale the visitors. City were poor in the first half and were lucky to go in at half-time 1-1 thanks to a penalty just before the break. they dominated the second half, but couldn't find a breakthrough and it was Vale that popped up with an added time winner for a 1-2 victory. After five consecutive home wins this was a bit of a set back but hopefully the team will bounce back at Macclesfield on Saturday.
