Chimneys

After a visit to the Audiology Clinic to have a hearing test, I met Ann and we went to New Place.  New Place is the area where Shakespeare's house used to stand before it was demolished later by an owner in a dispute over taxes.

Now it is a very pleasant area comprising sculptures,  a knot garden and an open garden. Stratford residents have free access to the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust property.  Adjoining is Nash House a Tudor building from the time.

We sat in the garden and had a sandwich lunch before wandering around, and taking some pics in my case.  On leaving we went to Nero for a coffee and a pot of tea.

The photo was taken from the gardens looking towards the backs of the buildings on High Street.
