Quilting...

...African style!

I started a sewing class today (@The Sewing Shed) and this is the beginning of my quilt. I am using traditional African wax prints mixed with African tie & dye prints. Everybody else's prints look so dainty and light but mine has a bold craziness i think i'm gonna love when finished. At least i hope so...

I already love sewing and can't wait to finish my homework!
