Book launch

I went to our Waterstones this evening to hear Esther Rutter tell us about her new book, ‘A Journey Through Britain’s Knitted History’
She spent a year travelling to various locations and recreating knitted items from history.
These included the Coppergate shoe displayed in the Jorvik Exhibition, and some incredibly fine and intricate gloves by the Terrible Knitters of Dentdale!
A fascinating evening and the book looks intriguing.
