A Day With the Horses

We spent the day at Assateague Island National Seashore.  The weather was picture perfect with temps in the 60's, plenty of sun, and lots of wild horses!

There were very few tourists and think that the horses were appreciative of that.  They were all over the sand dunes looking for food and at points even running along the beach.  The male horse (on the right) called his mate (the brown and white horse) and she came galloping down the beach and met him for a little nose rub and then they walked away.
