Big! Leaf and heart!

Today Shelly and I took advantage of a cool sunny day to take a long walk at Lake Padden. We took a side trail that lead us up a hill on a wide path only to turn into a small, gnarly rooted, downhill path back to the main route. We managed with my warning Shel about roots and bumps as we wended our way down. It was a bit dark in there due to the overhanging trees, not Shelly's best visual world. He is always willing to go boldly forward, especially when I'm there helping. So we made it just fine. When we got back to the main trail we stayed on it until we got back to our car. The giant leaf was on the main path. The native maple trees here have yellow fall leaves and some of them have very big ones. I posted a few extras of our walk.
