Ah fair blippers...

Many say they are overtaken with an emergency blip and then publish a beauty.

I am completely committed though to the word - this is indeed an emergency blip at the end of a busy day. David Attenborough's "Africa" on I-player. I'm not actually that bothered, but I have no mental energy to tear me free.

So Buona notte poi!

But here's a poem, shared long ago, and remembered since...

Good-night? ah! no; the hour is ill
Which severs those it should unite;
Let us remain together still,
Then it will be good night.

How can I call the lone night good,
Though thy sweet wishes wing its flight?
Be it not said, thought, understood --
Then it will be -- good night.

To hearts which near each other move
From evening close to morning light,
The night is good; because, my love,
They never say good-night.

Percy Bysshe Shelley
