Checked out of our lovely hotel after a great breakfast, and headed to the small town of Creetown on the River Cree.  We did a walk up the 'glen' through lovely woodland, with good views down to the Irish Sea.  Lots of nice things in the woods, and I enjoyed collecting some 'conkers'.  I liked this photo too, even though it is not too sharp. 

From Creetown after a quick drink we headed home via Kirkoswald where we stopped for a meal.  There had been an accident on the A77 so the sat nav took us home by some back roads and we were able to avoid the huge tail back of traffic.  Isn't technology wonderful!!!

The house was very cold when we got home, but it soon heated up and I was very cosy in bed and slept very well.
