Mushroom Walk

It was supposed to be sunny today but it wasn’t. I was invited out to lunch after church this morning and we had a very delicious meal.

When I left my friend’s house I stopped for a walk on the way home. I went to Maidenhead Thicket - which is National Trust land. It was a beautiful autumn walk and I found lots of different kinds of mushrooms. I even got to sit at a picnic table and read a few pages of my book. It started to rain but just as I got back to the car so that was perfect timing!
