Narrow Pit, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve

I thought visiting the bird hides at the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve would provide some opportunities to practice using the zoom and trying different settings. The birds were not co-operating, being mostly asleep. In trying to get round to the last hide we encountered lots of mud so cut our losses and made our way back to the car.

Not a bad decision as the sun appeared below some low cloud and provided an opportunity to experiment with the sunset scene on the camera. Quite like this one.
