The Two Towers

This picture shows the Ministerial Tower and the Committee Tower of the Scottish Parliament. The low building in the foreground is the restaurant. The crane is part of the building work that is constructing a new security entrance at the front of the Parliament.

Slightly unusual view of the Parliament as the photo is taken from inside the MSP block.

It was such a grey day I decided to put the black and white filter onto this picture. Although it makes the scene look a lot more somber than it actually was it perhaps reflects a certain January mood that can be caused by the low levels of light and the grey weather.
