Heading north

Backblip
Mike is now well and truly full of cold so we are running for home.  We had a good drive up, Lottie on my knee.  The sun shone and the scenery was superb with all the trees in their autumnal finery.  We had a couple of short stops, a bit of a walk by the river Tilt, lovely larches, covered in moss and lichen and laden with cones, but it was pretty chilly.

We drove up to Latheronwheel and stayed down at the harbour overnight.  There were already three other vans there, great big motorhomes, but still room for a little one!  Not having any heating we were snuggled up in bed before long, Mike having to sleep sitting up as his cold has gone to his chest, poor chap.  He's well togged up with hat and jacket on as well as his sleeping bag!  Home tomorrow.
