Red deer hiding in red bracken

I'd planned a trip out to see the Martindale deer today with Meg. Tom came too. We parked up at the church and wandered along the road as far as it would take us. To the naked eye you can't see that many. But when I got home and processed the images I was surprised to find more hiding in the bracken. It's the end of the season, but they will be back in May.
It's not a brilliant image but it's the best I could do today. There are better shots that Meg took of the valley on my FB page. We had a cracking lunch at the Sun Inn, Pooley Bridge before heading back home. I had Cumberland sausage and caramelised red onions on a baked potato, scrumptious.
