String Theory- Stringy Blip

I really don't know any much about string theory. I've half an eye on that Brian Cox on 'Stargazing Live' . I'm sure he knows about string theory. It's a wonderful programme all about stars and space and meteors, and Brian Cox was/is a singer- cum -scientist and a lovely presenter.
