Autumn at Coulsdon Common

Visited my brother and his family in surrey today with my folks, and went wandering as the weather was so nice - sunny but cold!  Discovered Coulsdon Common where I've never been before which is a nice wooded area of about 127 acres so I've still got plenty left to explore on our next visit! Was hoping to spot some mushrooms but didn't find any, but did see plenty of squirrels and birds. Didn't see any other people there either  - another reason to like it!

And, more importantly!, I managed to find a sweet shop in Surrey that sells Orange Twirls! Haven't found any in Essex but glad to have tracked some down! I just hope they taste as good as I hope they do otherwise I'm going to be very disappointed!
