Allotment bird watching and tidy

I went off early (only because the clocks had gone back) to the allotment to start clearing.  One of the plot holders had some wonderful sun flowers which are still standing but dried out now.  I noticed that several coal tits were going to the seed heads and eating the seeds, they were wonderful to watch.  I got one bed cleared and made a start on cutting things back, still lots to do and I will be going a bit over the winter to try and get it all cleared before the spring.  See extra for the good start made today and an extra bird picture.

I have got a cold which is making me feel horrible, hopefully it will not stay for long.
