What did people do on trains Before Phones ?

Quite an ironic question as I'm on one now, but you know what i mean.

Quick lunch with No.1 as she passed the office on her way back to Brum. It was good to see her and not really do anything. Well, except a gig, a football match, a 10k (me not her although she did come and meet me at the end) and Sunday lunch out. Maybe not as quiet a weekend as I thought.

The aftermath of the Great Burst Pipe is we have no heat in the office at the moment. The facilities team can't say how long it will be and today was the first day it's been noticable. I hope it's not too long.
